High-Level Journal Summary: I played football this evening, just as I was getting ready for my overall passup. Now, I wonder, what was the association for doing all this action? It sort of blows my mind.

Given all this action, I was still amazed at the outcome. It started out 17-3 in the favor of Auburn. By the end of the game, it was 17-34, West Virginia. What a game! If this can happen in the "world series" of college football, then why not elsewhere (even if it is the same sport).

Countdowns:
1.) Day 14 of 28 in Cycle 2 of the Avastin + Enzastaurin Clinical Trial at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
2.) A chance to see NIH on 10/24/08. This will be a chance to get more phlebotomy so I can get additional MRI's. All this will take place at first thing in the morning.

2008 Seizure Activity:
1.) Last Simple Partial Seizure, or SPS, was 41 days ago.
2.) In 2008, I have had 80 SPS's in 297 days. This is an average of 1 SPS every 3.7 days.

Actual Journal: This is yet another chance to get lots done in "the last day of the season," perhaps. Well, that is saying a lot, but it speaks much for all that is going on in this football season, doesn't it? I think so.

To be completely accurate, we have an overall plan for dealing with a tough situation. Our team was down a total of 14 points, and now we are up by over 3 points. Way to go, team! I don't like teams, per se, but it is sure fun to watch them play in and out of games. Keep going, West Virginia. You can really beat Auburn if you try.

Eating my own words
Depending upon my own typing speed, I imagine that I will be able to eat my own words here this evening. I hope not. That would not be the point of this overall journal entry. The thing I see in this overall journal entry is how much we can invest in a single journal entry, even when we do not have that much invested in a single game.

In the game of football, there is so little that is invested in getting to the start. Think of it. We have 2 teams with things invested in the team, and if the team with the most invested in it wins, then what could happen to the other team? There is probably more promised to them than they can handle. I can see it being managed at a high-level. What a mess that would be, even at the lowest level.

I do not do this to myself
I must be careful in all that I do, because we are getting to the close of the overall game. I must be careful in ending this game before it is ended for me. If I am going to be honest with everyone, I need to finish the overall game before the entire game is done. I have about half a quarter left, and then the whole thing is done. Mark my words.

So, I must make this is a fairly short journal. If I make it longer, what is the point of writing this overall journal?

Oops. It used to be 17-3, Auburn. Now, it is 17-27, West Virginia. That is 24 points in a row by West Virginia. Yeha. I love it when things like this just pop off my screen like this, without any prompting at all. This is 3 touchdowns, all as if they were nothing. I love it.

All I've got to say is, "Wow -- what a game!" I am so glad I watched the end of this game, even though I had little time to watch the whole thing. What a great use of time, I must say.

P.S.
The final score? 17-34, West Virginia over Auburn. That is 31 points in a row, without trying hard enough. Way to go, West Virginia -- even though I want your "face" in any tough bowl game.
