After 15 months of work, the 10/14/06 public opening of the "Brain Tumor Series" in the studio of artist Rosemary Feit Covey. This event had rich dynamics. Many languages were at play. Celebration, dark humor, support, bioethics, documentary filming, art...all mixed into one small studio at The Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Virginia. Charlie Peterson, a longtime friend and trumpet player, came to this event. His take on it? “It wailed, dude.”
