I met a number of friends and family members at the opening of the “Brain Tumor Series” who were there in support. I would hate to leave anyone out, so suffice it to say that everyone from my freshman college roommate to friends from the Garfield Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps to my neighbors were there (and many diverse folks inbetween). As well, there were a number of other brain tumor patients. I met over half a dozen brain tumor patients who I have never talked with before, and they were there to absorb the experience...not knowing quite what to expect. Here, Helen Pinegar, a friend and colleague from Rivermine was there in support. Helen is also a photographer, so she loved being at The Torpedo Factory where this event was held.
