Out of NOWHERE, a woman came up behind me and hugged me during the 5K Race for Hope. It was my Nurse Practitioner at NIH, Cheryl Royce! This was an amazing thing for a number of reasons. First, there were thousands of people at this event. Second, I had no idea she was attending. Third, she was taking some rare time out of her busy schedule to support a brain tumor cause she supports every day of the week in her profession. Where do they make people like Cheryl in this world?
