Another photo of my 5/18/06 heavy Simple Partial Seizure (SPS). Lighter SPS’s do not usually result in drooling. But even when a heavy SPS occurs, I am alert and understand what is happening. For example, I measure my heartbeat and count down to the one-minute mark before taking my Ativan emergency anti-seizure medication. However, I do not usually realize that I have been drooling like this until it is all over. It is a very strange experience – one that I am clearly unable to control without proper medication.
