On 9/5/06 at 2 PM, I was not feeling good. I was really feeling the impact of taking Temodar chemotherapy, so I needed to rest. But at 2:45, I was bolted out of bed. I was breathing quickly and trying to get my bearing. I intentionally made guttural sounds as I shook my head, as if I could literally shake away this heavy SPS (Simple Partial Seizure). It faded at the 60 second mark, so I did not have to take any Ativan emergency anti-seizure medication. I then turned over and went into deep sleep for the next 1.25 hours. This picture shows how much drooling can happen during such an SPS.
