My 2/14/06 x-ray report read as follows: “Lateral, Caldwell, and Towne's views of the skull were obtained. The patient is status post left pterional craniotomy. The margins of the craniotomy flap are clean. There is no evidence of osteomyelitis or aseptic necrosis. The patient is status post left burr hole placement. A surgical device covers the burr hole. The cranial vault is otherwise unremarkable. No skull base abnormalities are seen. The pineal gland is midline.”
