Everyone wearing a yellow shirt at the Race for Hope is a brain tumor survivor. Each yellow balloon represents a brain tumor patient. These yellow balloons are released just before the start of the 5K race. Between the yellow shirts and the balloons, it helps show the number of brain tumor patients that are represented. Often, one might never suspect that a person has a brain tumor if not for their yellow shirt. In many instances, this can be deceptively hidden.
